Barefoot Beach Club Annual Trip 2023. Cruise from Puerto Rico!
I have not posted too much in the way of post trip pictures lately. Unfortunately I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and that actually cancelled one of our yearly trips. During my treatments I was not up to working on a web page and after getting better I kind of forgot about it and had to relearn how this all works.
We had a great trip in February of 2023. We cruised on the Norwegian Epic out of San Juan. We traveled to Aruba, Curacao, St. Kitts and St. Lucia. This trip was supposed to take place in 2022 so it was a smaller group than usual, but we still had an amazing time.
We stayed at a beautiful hotel in San Juan called El Convento. It used to be a convent and is right across the street from a beautiful old Catholic Church. Catedral Basilica Menor De San Juan Bautista.
Also while in San Juan we visited the El Junque Rain Forest. We had a bright sunny day for our hike and had a chance to cool off in the Mameyes River which was very refreshing.
The Bacardi Distillery was another fun excursion in San Juan. We did a tasting and a full tour. This was a different kind of refreshing!
I think Curaca0 was my favorite stop. I loved the floating bridge in town and the hearts of locks.

The trip was a huge success again for the 12th year in a row. We also missed that nasty blizzard! I have posted some pictures of all the fun we had. If you missed out this year, we are already planning next year. We will announce the trip as soon as it is confirmed.
The Barefoot Beach Club will be sailing on the beautiful Norwegian Breakaway Feb. 17-24, 2019. The cruise will begin in New Orleans and sail to Cozumel, Mexico, Costa Maya, Mexico and Harvest Caye, Belize.
Capt. Josh will once again be traveling with us as our private entertainer. This will be his 10th year of traveling with our group. You can find more information about Capt. Josh at http://www.capt-josh.com/.
Currently Norwegian is still offering the free drink package. If free drinks are not what you want, you can also choose specialty dining or shore excursion credit.

In January of 2018 we will be relaxing on the beautiful beaches of Punta Cana, Dominican Republic at the Ocean Blue and Sand. The trip dates are January 23rd through the 30th.
Capt. Josh will once again be our entertainer of choice along with all the entertainment available through the resort. Of course we will be doing some off resort excursions and hopefully get in some snorkeling and scuba diving.

In 2017 we will be sailing on the Carnival Conquest out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The cruise dates are March 4th through March 12th and will visit the exciting ports of St. Maarten, St. Kitts, San Juan, and Grand Turk. There will be 3 fun days at sea. We will once again be traveling with Capt. Josh and his lovely wife Laurie. They are always great at entertaining us along the way. Of course you are always free to take in all of the entertainment provided by the ship as well.
Group prices which include the cruise, Capt. Josh performances and group parties are: Inside Cabin: 890.00, Ocean View Cabin: 1030.00 and Balcony Cabin: 1370.00 These prices are per person based on double occupancy. Suites are available but not part of our inventory so cost varies based on current rates.
Our charity again for this cruise will be the Methodist Jennie Edmundson Charitable Patient Care Fund. We will once again be selling raffle tickets to win the cruise for two.
